Historic Yonge Street Heritage Conservation District Plan (Draft)

Historic Yonge Street Heritage Conservation District Plan (Draft)

The City believes that consultation with the community prior to Council considering the designation of an HCD is in the best interest of the community, City and property owners.

The City and its consultant, DIALOG, have prepared the draft HCD Plan for public review and comment. The plan required under section 41.1 (5) of the Ontario Heritage Act states clear objectives, definitive policies for heritage conservation, as well as relevant planning requirements and procedures.

The proposed committee schedule is as follows:

  • Toronto Preservation Board – February 10, 2016
  • Toronto and East York Community Council – February 23, 2016
  • Toronto City Council – March 10, 2016

You can access the HCD Plan here.
