Heritage Conservation District Prioritization report now availablePosted: February 12, 2015
Heritage Preservation Services has completed its HCD prioritization analyis, and has made recommendations for the next 8 high priority HCD studies to begin over the next 2 years.
The report will be considered by the Toronto Preservation Board at its February 20, 2015 meeting, at 1:30 PM. Note that this meeting will be held in Meeting Room 309, Metro Hall.
The report will also be considered by the Planning and Growth Management Committee at its February 24, 2015 meeting at 1 PM, in Committee Room 1, City Hall.
The process examined 16 nominated HCDs against 5 criteria: development activity, existing level of heritage protection, fragility, planning priorities and archaeology.

- West Queen West
- Distillery District
- Kensington Market
HCD studies recommended to begin in 2016:
- Baby Point
- Bloor West Village
- Cabbagetown Southwest
- Casa Loma
